DAANI Ambassador

Daani Ambassador plays an important role in the organisation by identifying local fundraising opportunities and organising the event. With the support from the Mentors, their contribution will facilitate fundraising that supports the mission of Daani as an organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing the local fundraising opportunities.
  • Identify and solicit local sponsor support.
  • Share information about Daani to raise awareness.
  • Engaging with local Daani constituents.
  • Creating fundraising opportunities that appeal to a wide range of audiences.
  • Communicating how the fundraising will benefit the respective causes.
  • Fostering a sense of community.
  • Support the walk for Daani Ambassador's fundraising efforts.
  • Value each person's contributions and interests.

Daani Ambassador's Qualifications:

  • Commitment to the mission of Daani.
  • Possess a familiarity with Daani as an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • The ability to work well with others (Daani staff, volunteers, participants etc.).
  • Self motivated.
  • Good time management skills.

Content Creator

We are seeking an experienced Content Creator to join our team. This multifaceted role is tasked with advancing marketing goals through clever and captivating promotional content. The ideal candidate is a pop culture junkie that can produce content that resonates.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing, producing and editing audio-based projects (short-form content, trailers, promos, sales reels, radio ads, and other branded/promotional content.)
  • Ensuring that all projects fit the client's style and voice.
  • Communicate progress effectively with the Creative Manager and colleagues in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, and Creative Operations.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of show content, marketing goals, production timelines, and deadlines.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere editing software.
  • An equivalent combination of skills, training, and hands-on experience.
  • Proven ability to identify stories/creative that will connect with the audience.
  • A solid understanding of digital video and social media platforms including, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Understanding of how to make shareable content for a variety of media and platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. Strong background in conceptual and visual thinking.
  • Take a brief to grasp the production team's needs and specifications.
  • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scene's value and contribution to continuity.
  • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximise efficiency.
Event Manager

Event managers plan and organise promotional, business and social events. They're responsible for running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. Events play a huge part in the success of a brand or an organisation.

You'll manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research on Fundraising opportunities.
  • Work with the Events Strategy Manager and wider Engagement team to develop and test new events to achieve the organisation goals of growing our income and supporter base and increasing brand awareness of our work.
  • Play a key role in the development of the organisational Income, Generation Strategy and lead on the development and implementation of relevant operational plans.
  • Develop project and communications plans for every event and work closely with the wider organisation to ensure maximum attendance at events.
  • Develop engaging and dynamic communications to events attendees/participants ensuring a focus on powerful storytelling.
  • Secure sponsorship, prizes and in-kind donations for events.
  • Ensure briefings are provided to key internal and external speakers and guests as required.
  • Manage and operate within the agreed business plan and budget to ensure that DAANI targets are met.
  • Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements.
  • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets).
  • Research venues, suppliers and contractors then negotiate prices and hire,
  • Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event.
  • Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently.
  • Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events.
  • Research opportunities for new clients and events.

Skills required:

  • Have experience in organising Employee Engagement events, Fundraising events or Art and Culture events.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills for dealing with Clients, vendors and staff.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to coordinate the actions of multiple people.
  • Creative thinking skills to design events that fit the visions of the clients.
  • Multitasking ability necessary to move from one task to another at a fast pace.
  • Good networking skills to build relationships with vendors and suppliers and attract new clients.
  • Knowledge of risk management to identify potential legal liabilities and take steps to mitigate them.
Manager Business Development

Lead Generation and Market Analysis :

A. Lead Generation and Market Analysis :

  • Developing a business development strategy focused on revenue.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Identify and generate leads for potential customers / donors (directly / indirectly) to explore potential business opportunities
  • Identify, evaluate and track opportunities for lead generation like events, conferences and seminars. Also participate in such forums as and when required Engagement.

B. Client :

  • Support development of impactful project proposals for CSR projects for corporates & donor organisation
  • Lead proposal development process by engaging with Consulting, Innovation,
  • Implementation and Senior Management team
  • Conduct market research and document best practices, specialized solutions, and integrate them while developing impactful proposals
  • Act as a liaison between the operational teams and key client contacts

C. Development and Capacity Building :

  • Support NGO on boarding on Daani's database and technology platform
  • Negotiate and contract NGOs and implementing partners
  • Support development of processes and templates to improve team's efficiency and efficacy

Qualifications, Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelors/Masters degree, preferably in Business, marketing or related field of study with 4+ years of Business Development experience.
  • Good interpersonal, facilitating and influencing skills to engage a wide spectrum of external and internal stakeholders
  • Able to conceptualize, work independently, resourceful, numeric and analytical with a - hands-on- disposition. Has an open mind set that is attuned to the evolving business needs and dynamism of the organization
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills with good stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Excellent planning, time and project management skills with the ability to deal with multiple demands on time and deal with ambiguity
